Wildkin nap mat review

Wildkin has been around for a long time and they make a very nice, reasonably priced nap mat in a variety of fun prints.  This Wildkin nap mat review takes a closer look at the brand and is part of our nap mat review series.

First, the basics
• The nap mats measure 20" x 50"
• The blankets measure 29" x 37"
• They are about 1" thick
• The blanket is lined with cotton flannel and is fairly thick
• The built in pillow is removable
• Only the blanket can be embroidered

The outside fabric of Wildkin nap mats is all cotton.  The mat is made from polyester batting, along with the stuffing in the pillow.

A perk of this nap mat over many other similarly priced mats is the heavy blanket.  The blanket is much heavier than Mint or Ozark Mountain Kids nap mats, and just a little heavier than Stephen Joseph.  The pillow is also well stuffed, and removable from the back.

At 50 inches long, our nap mat size guide shows this mat will serve most kids until ages 5-6.  The mat rolls up and secures with two velcro straps.  The picture below shows how the Wildkin nap mat compares to nap mats similar in size and quality (Mint and Stephen Joseph).  Wildkin nap mats are similar in thickness to Stephen Joseph nap mats and a little thicker than Mint's.  Stephen Joseph's are a little wider.

We personalize the nap blanket in the bottom corner, at a 45 degree angle.  With our embroidery preview function, you can see exactly how your embroidery text will look with any font in our collection.
